How does one book for an exam?
Candidates may call our Test Center Administrator, who may book the exam on their behalf if allowed by the vendor. Candidates may log on to www.pearsonvue.com and book their exams on their own or for select exams you may be required to book directly from the vendor and select IT-IQ as the test center.
How does one pay for an exam?
The payment method for exams is dependent on the vendor. For certain exams, candidates may have to pay for themselves, online, via a credit card. Other exams can be purchased directly from us with a purchase order or pay upfront for individuals.
Is there an exam schedule?
Exams are scheduled based on seats available at the test center. We do not schedule exams for a particular date or time. You may make a booking based on your convenience and the test center's availability.
Are there any special considerations when booking the exam?
Candidates must familiarize themselves with the requirements for their exams [e.g. type of ID required, pass rate, etc.] by the type of exam they are looking to take.
What documents does one need to bring to be admitted into the exam?
The candidate should bring the exam confirmation letter, a Government issued valid ID (passport, National ID, or Drivers License as the primary ID), and something that has your signature on it, it can be a bank card or student ID.
What happens on the date of the exam, before the candidate goes in to the exam room?
The administrator conducts a check-in session with the candidate. The candidate will need to empty their pockets, turning them inside out.
All contents of their pockets and any other items brought by the candidate are placed in a secure locker in the administrator's room. The candidate will be given the key to the locker. Candidates are then shown where to sit to register for the exam. The administrator will then award the candidate with the necessary stationery (the erasable note board, ear plugs, and erasable pens) they will take into the exam room.
What do I do if I need assistance during the exam?
If you need a bathroom break or and experiencing any issues during your exam, please raise your hand, and your test center administrator will assist you.
